I don’t think social media is good for society for two reasons.
私は２つの理由により、social mediaは社会に良いとは思いません。
First of all, social media-related crimes such as account hijacking, fraud, and slander are increasing day by day. Social media, which is full of delicate personal information, can be seriously damaged if misused.
まず、アカウント乗っ取りや詐欺、誹謗中傷など、social mediaに関連した犯罪は日増しに増えています。デリケートな個人情報がいっぱい詰まったsocial mediaは、悪用されると、その被害も甚大です。
Secondly, there are only a few companies that can utilize social media for business, and it is a world where only companies with high IT skills can benefit. It’s really sad that old-fashioned small shops go bankrupt.
第2に、social mediaをビジネスに活かせる企業はほんの一部で、ITスキルの高い企業だけが得をする世界になっています。昔ながらの小さな商店が、どんどん倒産するのは、本当に悲しいです。

まとめ
最近social mediaを見て思うのは、「フォロワー数」がステータスとなる世界では、「フォローしてもらうためだけにフォローする」のが当たり前となっていて、なんだか、それだとつまらないな、と感じています。
実際、フォローしている人たちの投稿をしっかり読んで本当に気に入って「いいね」するならともかく、プログラマーの中には「いいねを自動化する」人たちまでいる始末（笑）
そもそも何百件、何千件もの投稿を、いちいちチェックするヒマがあるなら、ジョギングでもした方が楽しいのでは？
こんな事を言うと、「頭が古い」と思われるのを覚悟で言いますが、social mediaで本当に面白い、と感じるのは100分の１件程度じゃないですか？ どうでしょうか？
とはいえ、フォロワーが増えると嬉しいのも事実です。
マリオがコインを獲得して得点を上げる様に、ゲーム感覚でフォロワー数をどんどん増やして楽しむ、そのために、色々な作戦を使うという、ゲーム仕立てのsocial media界。
「本当に面白いものしか投稿しねえし、本当に素晴らしい投稿しか ‘’いいね’’ しねえ」という職人気質に満ちたアカウントは、social media界では流行らないんでしょう。
ちなみに私はインスタ初心者で、FBアカウントもほぼ死んでおり、Twitter投稿は一貫性がなく支離滅裂です（笑）。気軽にサクサク投稿できる人たちを「うらやましい！」と思いながら、その方法を学習中です。どうか温かく見守ってくださいね。
