英検2級の要約問題は、3段落・150語程度の英文が出ます。段落の役割は毎回同じで、①テーマの紹介 → ②良い点2つ → ③問題点2つ。まず読んでみてください。

Many high school students belong to a club and also have to prepare for entrance examinations. Clubs meet after school and often on weekends, and examinations come at the end of the school year. Students must handle both at the same time. Some students practice almost every day of the week.

What are the good points of joining a club? First, students learn to work with others and to lead a group. These skills are useful long after they leave school. Also, practice gives them a break from studying, and they can return to their books with a fresh mind.

However, there are some problems. Club practice takes many hours, so some students cannot find enough time for subjects such as mathematics or English. In addition, students who train hard until late often feel tired in class and cannot concentrate on their lessons. Some of them give up their club in the final year in order to study.
